About Us

Keep Phoenix Beautiful is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We have been active in Phoenix since 1982 to involve and educate residents about recycling management and beautification practices. The Keep Phoenix Beautiful volunteer Board of Directors represents a cross-section of businesses, organizations and agencies, and we receive major funding from the City of Phoenix Public Works Department. Keep Phoenix Beautiful organizes and implements several programs including education, litter prevention and recycling initiatives. The education program focuses on K - 4 presentations on recycling and litter control, neighborhood associations, and we will come out to your business for "green" presentations and expo's.  Our service program provides Phoenix residents with roll off bins for community cleanups, cardboard trash boxes for special events, an ink jet and toner cartridge recycling program and landfill passes for special situations. Our outreach program involves Valley residents in beautification projects throughout the city of Phoenix. Each year Keep Phoenix Beautiful organizes several special projects for Public Lands month (October), our Corporate Challenge (spring), Earth Day Phoenix (April) and the Great American CleanUp (March - May). These special projects involve many volunteer residents and result in a healthier, cleaner, more beautiful environment. Our corporate program can assist your business with organizing a volunteer day for your employees, help with your recycling needs at your business, and assisting your employees with their personal recycling needs.
