HeatReadyPHX Tree Planting in Sunnyslope

Join the City of Phoenix Heat Response and Mitigation Department in planting trees to create shade and reduce urban heat—one tree at a time!

Volunteer tasks will include checking people in, handing out supplies and bags, along with educating attendees about trees, their impact and importance in our environment.

Tree Planting Address 1) Norton Park, N. 12th Street and E. Hatcher Rd.

Tree Planting Address 2) Winifred Green Park, W. Peoria Ave and N. 17th Ave

Be sure to dress comfortably, and wear close-toe shoes, hats, and sunscreen. Coffee and donuts provided!
